Kelly is GREAT, but it is easy to get kicked out and is VERY VERY clique oriented. beyond words. And I disagree about the "white schools" being best. West Brook is pretty good, or at least it was 10 years ago, and to my recall, unless its recently changed, I think even Nederland and Port Neches are 5A, or the Beaumont schools are 4A because I remember the teams playing against each other MANY times.

I will agree with the good ole boy network though lol.

Looked it up- half of bmt schools are 4A, half are 5A.

I plead with you not to go to Matterhorn in PN. My husbands car was broken into twice, my sister-in-laws three times. The manager was a four letter word that rhymed with "bunt" and starts with a "c." Cottages of Nederland on Hardy Ave are nice for a single person or couple. Clean, new, in good condition, fairly quiet, hands-off management(in a good way) w/d connectivity. Not so much for a family. If you have children, older rental houses are abundant in Nederland, Port Neches, and Groves. I just wrote a very long, detailed summary of the area from my perspective in another thread that explains some of the rash comments posters on this one are making, with a little more objectivity and ease.
