Considering I lived in California many year. I am in Houston now.

In my opinion Summer is the worst weather because of 90 F Humidity weather. I can't even stand for 1 minute outside.

Best weather is probably Spring with slightly warm and very low humidity.

Winter is cold but not everyday. This last Winter was probably the coldest out of all I've seen. Fall is mild and nice.

Winters are great. The only other season we have is summer. Just dont get caught in traffic without an A/C in your car. And if your new to the area, you better prepare yourself for hurricane season. If you lose power during a hurricane and have no power, you'll experience the worst Houston can offer.

We get big hurricane like every 25 years and that depends on where you live. No problems in the North of Houston. Generator should be good to go.

Hopefully with a new Climate Bill. The heat will be reduced.
Any other ideas for Houston to get low humidity and cooler weather?
Put a dome?

well hurricanes go in cycles and we were in a quiet period and now we are about half-way through with a busy cycle .... we have about 10 more years of a busy period before it settles back down into quiet.

Temperate and beautiful for 8 months of the year - if you can take humidity - with maybe a very few isolated cold nights in the winter. Then 4 months inside a dishwasher for the summer.
