whoever recommended India's sucks btw. i thought it was a poor imitation of indian food in comparison to other Americanized indian menus around the city. did seem like the people there were running kind of scattered though and didn't do the buffet. i heard from an indian buddy that no indian is going to say an indian restaurant is bad. texas user - how you feel about that? i want something that'll burn my mouth off and make me smell like spicy for a week

I would have to disagree with you. There are plenty of Pakistanis and Indians I know that are not even near biased. I give my honest opinion.

I love spicy food myself so just tell them to make it extra spicy.

There are posh upscale places with awesome service with lousy food. That would be a waste of money.
Can you name some please so I don't waste my money?

Are you looking for Veg or Non-Veg?

Bombay Brasserie is great but its more upscale.. It is located in the Rice Village across from Jason's Deli..
Mayuri is great too (it's more traditional)

was so disappointed with India's. Service was good as in the food came out quickly. The food is what was mediocre. You could get the same or better at every other indian restaurant in the city. I went to their dinner, not their buffet. I had friends from Arkansas visiting and they even said it was just okay based on their experience with indian food in their home town.

i was embarrassed

hmm...I ordered the Kashmiri naar and paneer and my out of town friends loved it. I didn't quite like the Bombay Brassrie.

London Sizzler was ok too. Service wasn't that great though.

I agree with this comment. They can also be less authentic as well.
