Thats a really small buffet line, plus no way its better that Cafe East on bellaire/6. They dont even have crispy shrimp, teriyaki wings, crab cakes, crab legs, crawfish, vegetarian, salad bar, shumai etc.

P.F. Chang's -- Good old American Chinese Food --Forget the buffet, because they don't have one, unless you just booked your company Christmas party for 100 guests - Try the Ahi, Lemon Chicken, or Mr. Chang's Spicy Chicken or Beef- Highland Park, Sugar Land.....good stuff.

I think if you live in Katy and want GOOD Chinese buffet food, you should forget it and just go over to the Kountry Kitchen.

Just sayin'...

Buffett usually doesn't mean high quality food.

Bigger buffet line does not always equal better.
I can honestly say I could eat every item on the buffet line at Hunan Chef.
Who needs crab cakes, crab legs, and crawfish at a CHINESE buffet???
If I wanted all that stuff I would just go to Golden Coral or somewhere else.

Or their Orange Chicken. My favorite: lettuce wraps for an appitizer. We just went there for lunch a few days ago, it is pricey but outstanding.

.....100% agree with you on the lettuce wraps -- kinda surprised the first time I ordered them & they brought them out to us -- I thought where's the food.

I think its stupid to want chinese then go to a chinese buffet. people go there for the VARIETY. its the same for that Golden Coral place, you can try everything and hope to hit the spot. Cafe East even has some mexican, kids stuff, even fried chicken so you can enjoy it with some chinese stuff from soup to squid. its not like the whole family of 4 would want to eat the same thing
