Actually, yes! They just launched their Facebook page, with a revealed full name of Bahnhof Wvrsthaus and Biergarten. They plan to open in a month or so, and are currently taking applications for cooks and waitstaff.
Thanks. I found it. Awesome logo. Looks like they will be using social media heavily. That's always a good sign when it comes to a restaurant thinking outside the box.
Another question...has Double Tree taken ownership of the Pullman Plaza? Has the renovation started?
The Pullman is supposedly currently undergoing renovations and once complete, it will be rebranded as a Double Tree. I haven't been inside to see what's going on though.
I don't remember seeing this being mentioned here on the boards but Mulberry Street Deli, part of the La Famiglia restaurant family and previously located on 4th avenue next to the Keith Albee, has moved into the La Famiglia location on 6th avenue. It appears that at this time they've consolidated all of their operations under one roof.
I didn't know this until yesterday when I tried to visit the 4th avenue location for lunch and noticed that the store front wasn't open. I then checked the Mulberry Street facebook page and saw that in the middle of January they announced the move.
I'm not sure what the issue is with the 4th avenue location, I didn't ask while I was having lunch.
"I'm not sure what the issue is with the 4th avenue location, I didn't ask while I was having lunch."
I'm not sure, but I'm going to guess that traffic is down on 4th avenue since all the restaurants have opened on 3rd. I work on 4th and it's like a dead zone now.
That could be it. Until this week, it had been about 2 months since I was able to get down to the 4th avenue location for lunch. However, every time I've been to the 4th avenue location, it was always busy, no matter which day of the week.
