Foundation blocks in place for the University Plaza and they seem to be moving along quickly now. Hopefully we'll hear what's going in there before too long.

The top level of Kinetic Park has now been opened to all types of development, not just technology or medical based businesses. That should really help with development there. The company that owns the current 2 hotels there is doing so well, they are looking into building a third.
Wow it even surprises me that there is such a high demand for hotels in Huntington. Do u know anything about the strip of land across 16th street from Kinetic Park? It's located in between the gas station and I64? It seems like it is prepared for development (raised elevation and flattened). I feel like something should go there.
Does anyone know when The Peddler is expected to have it's opening? I was passing down 4th Avenue Saturday evening, and noticed the lights were on, but couldn't tell if there were patrons dining, or if it was just more preparation?
I wouldn't mind seeing another new hotel open at the Hal Greer interchange/Kinetic Park if the end result is that it puts a few of the hotels at the 29th Street interchange out of business. The area needs better quality hotels than what is currently at the 29th Street interchange.
