Bailey, along the same lines as the wine and design, there is another art/painting design and drink type business opening in Barboursville WV.

Uncork and Create is opening next to Outback Steakhouse in Barboursville. The original Uncork and Create is located in Charleston and is locally owned and operated.

I had seen that and was very surprised they did not locate downtown. Many people were disappointed about that and when asked why, the claim was that they couldn't find a space. Hopefully they both do well but I would guess Wine and Design has the much better location.

It's probably best that Uncork and Create is going to locate in Barboursville, no need to have two of them so close together.

I agree Silkdashocker. Given the population base in the Barboursville/Ona area, I think the location may just work out.

Exactly. It will also give the folks in Teays Valley a closer option than driving to Charleston location as well. Wife and i have already discussed doing this.

I agree that you definitely don't need two such businesses so close together. Hopefully, they are both successful!

Another Huntington business on the move is BW3. It will be relocating from its often forgotten 4th Ave location and will be opening at the Barboursville Mall where CiCi's Pizza used to be located.

Are they relocating or opening a new location? Downtown is obviously the best place for that type of business due to the proximity to Marshall. I do agree that they would be better served moving from their current location to either across from Pullman Square or on 4th Ave between 9th and 10th Streets. It would help them to better compete with Rooster's who has much higher visibility.
