It really would be. It's a good size with parking behind the building and in the Pullman garage. The grocery store might have to make a deal with the city to purchase most of the lot behind M&Ds though. It would be interesting to see if it would be a national chain or someone local too. Ideally, I'd love to see the building torn down and rebuilt with retail space on the bottom and multilevel apartments/condos on top.

Yeah there is a lot of potential there. It's a great space. Could you imagine the views of the river and valley from the top of a high-rise right there? It would be awesome!
The link above is for an story to update the progress of both Dunkin Donuts and Sheetz in the Metro Valley area. The way the story is worded and there is no mention of any signed agreements for a Dunkin location in Huntington, it sounds like having a Dunkin location at the 3rd and Hal Greer Plaza isn't a done deal. However, I think everyone would agree that 3rd and Hal Greer is a great location for a Dunkin in Huntington.
Like I said in the Charleston thread, It's only a matter of time. Both cities have the capability of supporting multiples. Up here in NY where I currently residing, a town the size of Clendenin would have a DD.
Like Chris said, Dunkin Donuts will happen eventually. I'm not dying to having them myself though because I think Jolly Pirate has a better donut and I'm not a coffee fan. About the only thing I ever get there is a Chai and there are so many local places that have better chai that it likely won't be too often that I stop by. Hopefully they announce something soon about what's going in. I'd imagine they'd want yo be open as close to the start of school as possible.
