Hopefully having no ball field is an issue that will be taken care of in the next 5 or so years.

Saw where Hal Greer passed away today. He set a lot of records at MU and in the NBA.

No argument from me. I'm not an authority on any sport. I kind of figured he was trying to match up with the batter when he changed pitchers for a left-handed batter. How he could know a pitcher had to come out after one pitch is beyond my comprehension.

I'd kind of forgotten how well he did with the team last year. I saw mention of a baseball stadium recently, and I had a chat with a fellow that knew there were at least two locations under consideration. That has been badly needed for a long time.

Sad news indeed tbailey.

Mensaguy, I'm not saying that playing the match up game is working, just wanted to mention that they like to play it.

I don't think many people understand just how a new ballpark could help the program. While CUSA is not the top college baseball conference, it's still a good one and our opponents can recruit some good talented ballplayers.

Hate to see this. I think another year would’ve been good for him and Marshall.

I do too. If he gets a draft bid, he won't be an early pick, and he won't get a big contract. With another year's maturity, he might very well be a multi-million dollar player. Now that he's hired an agent, he can't come back. Bad decision.

I was not aware that Marshall had a math team. Glad to see that they have chess and trivia teams too.
