Huntsville Veteran's Day Parade on Thursday Nov 11, 2010:

Huntsville will begin to honor our Veterans at 11:00 am sharp at the corner of Williams and Lowe Avenues. The flag will be raised to full mast, followed by Taps and a three-volley rifle salute to honor the men and women who have served their country.

The parade will take the following route:

•Travel east on Clinton Avenue
•Turn right (south) on Monroe Street
•Turn left (east) on Williams Avenue
•Turn left (north) on Lincoln Street
•Continue on to Monroe Street traveling west then south
•Turn right (west) on Holmes Avenue

The annual North Alabama Veterans Day Parade will begin, led by: Lieutenant General James Pillsbury, Deputy Commander, United States Army Materiel Command. Lieutenant General Kevin T. Campbell, Commanding General, U.S. Army Space & Missile Defense Command/ARSTRAT.

The reviewing stand will be at the HSV Veterans Park. Last year, almost every high school band and ROTC unit in the area marched, as well as troops from the RSA garrison.
