I heard rumor, but now they have a sign up. They are building a new Hardees on 53 just north of Research acrcoss thom Raceway gas. With a new McDonalds to the north and a new Hardees to the south will of Bisquit Express now DBA-Doug and Harry's be able to survive in todays business enviroment.

I'm more worried about the "stop" of traffic that those 2 new places are going to bring....................

The construction will be bad enough slow down this spring when they start 4 laning to Harvest road.

Hey Sarge...I wouldn't bet too much on it happening anytime soon....I've heard that 53 was on the books to be widened for over 10 years....I'll believe it when I see the barrels out there!!!

Not 100% sure....but the way the lines are marked...they will do 2 lanes to the right (east side) of 53...then open them up....so the 2 lanes will stay unti lall is completed???

The bid was awarded in 2010 and suposed to start this year...I've also noticed a lot more painting going on on the east side of 53....
