Maybe if you come in at peak time. I come in at 7 daily and it takes about 5 minutes to get through the gates.

Not daily, but sometimes there will be a random traffic issue like that. Gate 9 is the worst of all. I used Gate 9 for 6 years, but am now glad that I live in Madison and come in Gate 7. Gate 7 has almost no wait time between 7 and 7:30. Gate 1 is also usually pretty good, very low to no wait time between 7 and 7:30.

Ha! I'd believe that. You think that's bad try going into the Pass and Id place at 7am.. I've had to go on there twice and it was insane.

I go through Gate 9 at about 7am, a little over 5 minutes wait. That is not bad to me at all. They are great at keeping the line moving right along...

If you are coming in off I-565 you can continue east for another exit and come through Gate 10.

I would say between 8 and 9 it gets like this....but that is pretty bad....

You may have hit a weird time....

I know this past Monday I went through that gate at 5:50am, and it was backed up past the light....

What does everyone think is going to happen when all those stores on the right open up?

Many do shop at 8 - 9 am......during the lunch hour, and even 4 - 7 pm....

Which are prime times to get on/off post right?

Wait to be seen how much 'worse' the traffic at the gate will be. In theory, it should not be since the gate will be moved back to accommodate the traffic to the mall/office park, so it is still the gate that will be the bottleneck.

What maybe worse are the entrance/exit to the I-565 and the Research Park Blvd (255) during the evening hours, as the mall/office park add more commuters to the same road.
