I like them both also, and you are right food is better when somebody else makes it.

I actually ate there on Monday. I didn't like it. My friend ordered rahmschnitzel and they put brown gravy on it and when we asked about it not having rahm sauce on it the waitress told us that many people have the misconception that it should be a white sauce. Funny right. The food itself wasn't good either.

Hildegard's is at the intersection of Bob Wallace and Whitesburg in a small shopping center.

My mother-in-law is German from the town of Bitburg, home of Bitburger Beer. She likes Ol' Heidelberg okay but says she doesn't believe it's authentic enough. Anyway, I love OH myself. Many years ago there was a really good German restaurant called 'The Bavaria' and it was located at the old mall where Home Depot is now on North Parkway. I'll be no one remembers that place.

Do you mean the old Heart of Huntsville Mall? And it was a restaurant and deli?

No, it was in "The Mall" right where Home Depot sits now.
