Hubby and I are relocating to Huntsville, but since he's working up in Fayetteville, we want to be somewhere north of town. We've found a nice new home for sale in Meridianville, in the Bermuda Lakes subdivision, a few miles east of 231. Anybody know anything about that area? Is it a nice place? Low crime? Anything to do? Full of rednecks?

It means the houses are crappy. Do a search on Hunter Homes here and google them and read their reviews. That should tell you about all you need to know.

The best bet is to drive through the neighborhood and catch people outside. Ask them their opinion of the homes and how the process was handled. That will give you a good start.
