Buying a new house in the Owen's cross road district. Can anyone recommend me affordable or cheap home and flood insurance for the this area or the Huntsville area? Thanks!

Default If you are active military or retired military or have a parent that is

then I'd strongly recommend you look into USAA (www.usaa.com). They had the lowest ratio of complaints per insured household of any insurance company that had damage claims from the April tornadoes. You may be able to find additional information (listing of companies and complaints) online as the info above came directly from a news report on one of the local television stations a month or two back.

Only active duty, veterans, and families of military members can buy USAA insurance.
