Can anyone recommend a driving instructor for my daughter. She is out of high school and although she did take driver's ed, she did not get to complete the behind-the-wheel portion due to illness at the time. We need someone who is patient and calm but who will teach her what she needs to know. After teaching three kids to drive, my nerves just can't take it anymore. We have heard great things about Mr. Whatley, but unfortunately he is retiring as of the first of the year. Just my luck! I'd appreciate any recommendations.

You are right about Mr. Whatley. Maybe he can give you a recommendation.

I noticed these recommendations on Google but I cannot personally vouch for him. Pretty good football player though at the University of Alabama.

Coach Scissum taught my daughter and she passed the road test at the first time. I was with my daughter in the car when Mr. Scissum taught. He is very friendly and patient. His teaching is effective. He returned my call immediately for the class appointments all the time. I called several instructors in town and he is the only one who responded my calls in a timely manner. He was on time to the class. A very pleasant experience with the coach. Wonderful driving coach. Highly recommending him for your child's driving instructor.

Mr Willard Scissum is not just a common driving coach, his educational skills made a scared woman like me gain the confidence I needed to be able to drive on USA roads. I had just arrived from Europe, where road rules and regulations are very different. Mr Scissum patience is as huge as the universe!!! My road test was a piece of cake!! Thanks again Coach!!!!

Thanks cyberfox. Watley says they can't really suggest anyone, but to be careful--yikes! I found that reveiw for Scissum too, so that's who I'm going to try.
