This makes me smile.

Walk in to a restaurant.

Look around.

Walk out.

Good times

Well, my mistake! If we had had any idea they were open we would have checked them out. We were in the middle of a family "I don't know, what do YOU want to eat?" discussion and everyone agreed they wanted something different. It just looked so dead we didn't even consider it open yet. I hope they can overcome that!

I have to ask, Fortnico, were they just open for tours or something? ;D

Those who complain about Venice having too much on their menu may have problems with Sunrise:

Hey - I was the only one who complained about that - everyone else thought it was fine.

So you just went in and didn't eat? Did someone else eat or were you there on business?

I was there on business, plus it was like 9:30 in the morning, so it wasn't quite time for pizza yet. They do have frozen yogurt there as well, which I didn't know about. The owner told me it was his third day of being open. I don't think I could ever walk into a restaurant, look around, and walk out.

Just having some fun with you, Fortnico.

That menu is, um, busy! I'm usually leery when a restaurant offers so many items but we'll probably give them a try one day. Thanks for sharing that, FCEddie.

Happy to help the people

I'll probably wait a few weeks before trying it. I like to give a place time to settle.

I agree with you, their menu was too long when I first saw it. I didn't go for 4yrs because of that first impression.

Some places fall so short of expectations you have to be willing to walk out.

Do any of you remember that Chicken and Waffles place out on North Parkway? No body wanted to go try it with me, so one day I went out there and was surprised they only had "Wings" and waffles, no breast, no other piece of chicken, just wings. So I was paying Breast prices for 4 wings and a waffle. I stood there for a good few min in front of the register, worried I would be forced to eat there...then someone else FINALLY walked in and I faked a phone call. I left.

Sadly I went to Sharks Chicken and Fish, I walked in, got up to the register and realized someone was dealing with a VERY smelly baby. Faked a phone call again and made my way to Popeyes. It was worth the walk outs.
