I will, but I would rather find out "why" than just say "really" and base what I think, off of a name!

They also have signs up about conducting pistol training classes. I think they got the right business idea. This area is safe/ upper middle class neighborhood. Lots of transplants who were not exposed to, or have had, firearms training and want a clean/ upscale place to shoot or take lessons, and meeting the demand for an indoor range.
Excellent!

Just what I'm looking for.

I wish someone would open up a range on the south end of Huntsville.

There was a very nice range and gun store on the Parkway South.
About across of the big motorcycle store.
I was there every Wednesday evening for the bowling pin matches for several years.

But it closed in 1997 or 1998.

Range Time.

The owners sold the property to the then-next door neighbor owner for his expansion. $$$ from selling far exceeded possible $ from running it, so they got out. The last time I saw the owner, he was the postmaster or worker at the MSFC HQ post office; but that was well over 10 years ago since I last saw him.

Good bunch of people, used to shoot there all the time, especially the Thursday night bowling match. Bought my S&W 629 .44 Mag from them; it cost me more than Larry's but it was worth it.

I've heard that the new Madison range has just closed on their new property and should be in around the first of the year. The good thing about this place is the heavy emphasis on gun safety and self defense training classes. That's good IMO.

Wednesday or Thursday .... I'm getting old ....
Most likely we met then.
After the closing of Range Time, I asked Larry if we could use his range for bowling pin matches but he would not allow that.
That was also the time frame that I started the local IDPA club, and IDPA evening matches at Larry's was fine for him.
The members that took over IDPA after my health problems did run the IDPA evening matches at Larry's until recently when they had to stop with it because of to many shooters for the location.

My recollection was Thursday, but it could have been Wednesday, although that's usually a church night IRC.

It wasn't a bad place. I wonder how the family is doing?
