Anyone know where fireworks will be other than Joe Davis Stadium?
Kiddies will be visiting.
Thanks!

USSRC is $20/car with prepayment/registration required.

Sci-Quest has a fireworks themed science day on July 4th, but I don't see anything on their website about having fireworks that night.

Related question: Does anyone know of a good place to see Dublin's fireworks other than at Dublin itself? We went there two years ago and the crowds are just too much, we'd rather go somewhere it's not as crazy. We don't care about the activities and food, we just want to see the fireworks. I was thinking you can probably see them from Kroger or Burger King or somewhere like that.

I caught just a snippet of a local news report this morning saying "state wide fireworks ban". Not sure if they were talking about AL or another state. Haven't heard anything else about it. Anyone else hear that?

Haven't heard anything like that, but it wouldn't be a bad idea as dry as it is.

More likely fire weather alerts due to a combination of high heat and low (<20%) humidity...although it is dry enough at our house that the ground (clay) is cracking.

If past years are any guide, viewing fireworks at the Space & Rocket Center will be free outside the main parking area (expect to park in fields nearby and walk); only have to pay to access the main parking lot (which is an admittedly better/closer viewing area).
