Does anyone have any information on the trading days downtown?

I looked online, and it seemed like it was last week. But I heard from someone that they were going today.

Thanks! I was just looking for something to do, and I have never heard of this until yesterday.

Scottsboro had a big trade day on Labor Day weekend, or at least used to.

We went to the Athens art festival, walked up the steps to the gym - no handicap access??? - and were immediately assaulted by the sound of drumming. Walked up one aisle, down another, and left. Totally unimpressed by the booths. I'm sure it was great for people who enjoy loud music and are able to easily walk up and down stairs, but we were happy to leave. No big deal for us, even though it was disappointing. I had flashbacks with the drummer riffs - of the druggie drummer in college who was in the next dorm room over to me and liked to play starting at midnight and going until 2 AM. He din't care for it when I set the dual 15" speakers of my bass guitar amp against the adjoining wall and played opera...
