My fiancé and I are getting married June 2013 and we are interested in having our ceremony music played live. We like the idea of a solo violinist but would be open to other musicians.

We are hoping to find a reasonably priced musician. Does anyone have a contact for this type of request?

Thanks!

Default How About An Ensemble from HYO?

The Huntsville Youth Symphony / HYO has ensembles composed of stringed instruments - usually 2 violinists, 2 cellos and 1 bass or something similar.

They do this for exposure and experience. There is no set official rate.
These are young talented musicians.

There is a recommended rate but this is commensurate to the event. All 'gifts' go direct to these kids.

Send me a DM and I will email you the contact person.

I second the Youth Symphony. I was on the board of a Youth Symphony in Virginia and they had a wonderful group of musicians who played for weddings and other venues. They also had a String Quartet and a Wind Group.

Congratulations!

My brother-in-law is an outstanding violinist and has done several weddings and other ceremonies. He is an HYO alumnus and now a music education major at Samford. I could get you in touch if you like. Just dm me.

If you need a solo heavy metal electric bassist I am your guy!

An HYO alumnus or current member would be an excellent choice.
It is a small tight knit community ---

Went to an awesome wedding with Unknown Lyric this summer in Huntsville. These guys often play at Bridge Street. Check them out.
