I have several clients that live in Monrovia Elementary district and have loved it. Specifically, when they moved they were in MES zone and insisted in staying in that school zone. I've never heard anything but great things about the school...including Monrovia Middle.

My kids went there 10 years ago. If they have the same principal, she is very accommodating of reasonable requests and very kind to parents and students. The teachers were really good that my children had. We moved when they finished 7th and 8th grade. At the new school, they repeated a lot of things they had already learned at Monrovia Middle. I was extremely pleased with their quality of education and (for the most part) teacher involvement.

Well except that it's overcrowded. As is Sparkman. You may want to consider Madison City Schools instead of in the County. With the rezoning no school in Madison should be overcrowded next year except Bob Jones and that should be straightened out by 2014-2015. Good luck!
