So where is this anchor store going to be in the total layout of the place? Will it be in those outparcels or some where in the 'main street' of BS?

Gang turf? The security promptly runs off even car enthusiasts just trying to take a nice picture of their car. I don't see anyone shady being able to spend more than 15 minutes there without being run off.

Have you not been there lately and see where they filled in the lake beside Connor's?

Nope, haven't even seen Huntsville since August. I remember them draining the lake and some talks about them filling it. I guess now a lot of this makes sense. Perfect place to put more parking, even underground if they want.

I didn't notice when I was there this last week. It was dark and I just whined my way to Old Navy or The Monaco and that was it.

The parking garage is going to be north of Belk, so I question that will be much better for those who really don't want to walk. There will be a large plaza with two buildings between Belk and the bridge. So I am estimating just a little shorter walk than from the front garage, and I have seen the work.

(in other words, the parking will be farther from the bridge than the front door of Belk....if you consider the bridge to be the center of the place as I do)

Well, at least they're sticking to their original design inspirations.

Madison Square Mall is pretty much dead right now. It would be cool if the owners revamp the mall into a indoor waterpark and mall, like the mall in West Edmonton Canada.
