Please check your accounts - if you've made any purchase at Mapco Express in the last 2 months - in North Alabama and TN.

If you shopped at a Mapco convenience store recently, your financial information may be at risk.

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
If you shopped at a Mapco convenience store recently, your financial information may be at risk.
MORE

Mapco is warning that hackers may have gained access to customer debit card and credit card information. The chain said customers who made credit card or debit card purchases at certain locations during three different time periods are at risk.

This includes Mapco stores across the south, including Alabama and Tennessee. Those dates are march 19th through the 25th, April 14th, 15th, 20th and 21st.
If you think you've been hacked, call 1-877-297-2081.
MAPCO Express, Inc. has been out in front of the breaches, including an in-depth page that links directly to the three credit bureaus. If that link does not take you to the security alert page, click on "Security Alert" on MapcoExpress.com.

Thanks for sharing this. We recently discovered my mother's debit card number was stolen and fraudulently used in Georgia. My mother bought gas at the Mapco on Jeff Road Road in Huntsville.

Monitor those accounts asap --- and if possible, ask the banks to issue you new credit cards. Don't wait!

I am doing this at first sign of daylight.

We canceled the card last week. The bank is sending a new card. Hope the FBI catch the crooks involved.

Still an on-going investigation with the Feds... this will drag out.

But I think the perps are lying low - and not touching those accounts now - as they are being monitored.
