We are having a 50th High School Reunion. We need an informal place to meet on Aug 16 for about 75 people.
Some like a Pizza place or sports bar or restaurant etc. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

China Buffet in the Old Tyme Pottery shopping center might work. They have a fairly large room and offer a variety on the buffet.

With enough people, you may be able to rent out the entire restaurant (aim for some smaller and local) for the evening. I'd give Famous Joe's or Jefferson's a call. It seems like they have held fundraisers and private events in the past.

Ryan's used to be a great place for these events. I actually attended a high school reunion dinner, myself there many years ago. They are also very senior-friendly.

I was at the golf course today and thought about this thread. The RTJ Hampton Cove Golf Course has nice accommodations, a bar and caters whatever you like. It is informal and relaxing. Their phone number is 256-551-1818. Ask for the banquet manager. Hard to believe August is almost upon us. Good luck and I hope you have a great time wherever you go.
