Don't think so. Look at the rest of the list, it doesn't exactly follow that pattern. If that were true, my home town are (the SF Bay Area) would be high on that list (as well as random places in New Mexico, etc...). Then look at the rest of the cities...

It said it was a ranking of porn-loving religious cities. SF Bay area isn't exactly considered the bible belt considering it's in a highly liberal area and has a reputation for having a high number of homosexuals. But yes I agree the rest of the list doesn't really follow that notion, I was really joking.

pah. It isn't engineers. The poll represents a classic case of repression and how it gets sexpressed. Funny though.

(for those who care, engineers know how to cover tracks. They ARE rocket scientists, ya know...)

Oh I didn't notice it was a prespecified list of religious cities. Pretty meaningless list then.

The original list is from buzzfeed.com. It was meant to be meaningless. Just a ha-ha kind of article. I just thought we could have a good laugh at ourselves for what we have accomplished I know I had a hand in the results :P

Harmless, but misleading.

As a former SF Bay Area person, I can attest that people from the SF Bay Area - wouldn't consider that porn. That would be mainstream entertainment for them.

But that is besides the point - the metrics equation was 'self identified as religious' x 'traffic at xxx site' - so SF Bay Area would be zero since you can't multiply a number by zero.
