Remember it's the one on Hwy 20 Madison Blvd. Not OLD Hwy 20.

Haha, just picking!

The one and only is on Madison Blvd. Hwy 20 next to KFC.

Drove by Greenbriar again yesterday around 1 pm and the parking lot was empty. Are they still closed or have they stopped opening on Sundays now?

Oh man! The sign said Sept.

I hope it doesn't stay closed much longer.

It is closed "until further notice". Went to quikies hot dog place this weekend. The kraut dog is fantastic. That place will do well even at 5 bucks a dog. They also added sides.... baked beans and slaw.

Sounds like maybe they are just going to shut down then. They've been closed right at a month now and would likely have to hire a whole new staff of waiters, cooks, etc. if they were looking to re-open.

That is exactly my fear too, at this point, who would still be available.

Further more when I drove out there, there was ZERO outside damage, all interior it appears.

So how bad could this fire have been? I mean all commercial kitchens have a fire suppressant system. So it's not like they had drapes in there or something...

My guess is that the big problem for them wasn't fire damage but rather smoke damage to the interior (carpet, ceiling tiles, booths, table linens, etc.). Could be that they are wrangling with their insurance company over the cost of that damage and can't proceed until that is settled. Meanwhile, they've probably lost all of their staff.

OH I see. That is a good point.

I wouldn't want to eat in a place that smells like burnt...anything.

Sadly yes, I doubt any of the staff will be the same.
