So I probably should have posted this a few days ago since the parade is tomorrow, but does anyone have a recommendation for a good spot to watch the Veterans Parade downtown? A quick egress is not that important, but since I've never been to the parade here I figured I'd ask for some local tips. What time should I show up, where's a good place to park, etc. Thanks.

IIRC the parade starts at 11AM; I plan to get there by ~1030 to meet people. I like to view the parade from the Veterans Park (near the reviewing stand).

I park in the Lumberyard (gravel) parking lot on Meridian which is ~2 minute walk from the Vets Park. Being on the outside of the parade route (Vets Park is N of the route) and parking outside the route (Meridian with access to Pratt) provides easy ingress and egress.

Thanks for the tip. I parked in the gravel lot and it was a snap getting in and out. Being near the free hot dogs was a plus too.

Agreed, it was a great day all around! Beautiful weather and a wonderful parade. Looking forward to next year. Great to see such a large turnout.
