I did not know that some people have strong feelings against Waffle House.

If I'm having to drive a long way, and into the night I really need to sleep, I Waffle House instead. They're at about every 10th exit and don't care if you drink half the coffee on earth and sit for two hours.

But (and this is what Coca-Cola touts as their main draw worldwide) they are all the same. There's a safety about them.

Plus, waffles. (I've never gone for the smothered, covered, scattered, plothered, brothered hash browns. They're OK though.)

I had a good buddy that worked for an FBO in Atlanta. Waffle House corporate jets came in and out quite often and he said they pretty much resembled the dank character of the typical Waffle House. Seems to be a theme they are proud of.

WH is true representation of the south. I guess that's why the implants don't like it. The Waffle in Jones Valley is the premier store in the chain.

How so? Outdated and behind the times? <- Ya bustin your balls!

But seriously how so, I'm a transplant, Waffle House may be a chain that's not in the North, but I don't see it as a "representation of the south. It's just a restaurant chain that doesn't want to update itself, or build it's restaurants to a sufficient size to accommodate the amount of people that typically eat there. Do you really think that small restaurants that look like old school diners don't exist in the North? The funny thing is, in the North we're not always about "North this" North that" we just are where we are. IT'S JUST A RESTAURANT MAN! I'd wager most Southerners would be VERY surprised to spend some time in the North because there's this strange thing where people think it's a different planet or something. It's the EXACT SAME CRAP, DIFFERENT ZIP CODE, I assure you......but more expensive!
