My family and I will be relocating to the Huntsville-Madison area at the beginning of the Summer. I am looking for a local dance studio for one of my daughters. Do you have any advice or opinions on any of the local studios? What about The Dance Company, Inc?

Thanks!!

I have several friends that go to Southern Sensations Dance on HWY 72 and love it! They all do the competition teams. Shannon is a doll and the girls all love her I'm pretty sure she was a Tiger Paw at Auburn (the dance team).

Thanks for the info! I'll have to check it out. She is in her fourth year of dance, and she really wants to continue, so I hope to find a good fit.

There's the one near the 911 call center. My daughter went there when she was little (I guess 5ish). It's done well.

You're welcome! I have heard good things about Dance Company as well, but everyone I know that goes there has itty bitties so I am not sure if it caters more to the smaller beginners? I know that lots of the girls on the local school dance/cheer teams go to Shannon at SSDC.

Their website looks like they compete with the older girls, but I will definitely check out SSDC, too. Hopefully we will be there at the beginning of the Summer, so will have a little time to explore before it's time to start the dance year.

I'm hoping to find something to get them involved in soon after we get there, so they can get to know some girls their age.

That one is called North Alabama Dance Company I live near there and pass it all the time. Not sure if they have a website or not though.
