I went to PF Changs today and BS was crowded. Amazing in this weather! Bridge Street is certainly thriving and not closing anytime soon. A good pal of mine works for Hoar and says the parking deck is AHEAD of schedule.

Was there legitimate noise that this was going to happen? Would be surprised since they did all that work to fill in the lake for a new store.

Yeah, I flipped through a few pages of that but I thought it was squashed already as a rumor and people were just discussing turnover and restaurants.

I thought there was a more credible announcement as to a possible closure.

It was just a game always. (I don't remember who started it, mischievous troll probably)

At first I think some were annoyed then eventually I think we all contributed something. When something is absurd it can be fun.

On a serious note; I wonder how many, like me, wish they had left the 'TOWN CENTER' off the name. I hate that term. When you come across it you know that you are nowhere near the center of town...........for sure.

Town center means it is supposed to resemble a little downtown area, a gathering spot. They shoot July 4th fireworks there, I think more pepole go there than downtown for the 4th.

Bridgestreet has quickly become a model for other cities to study.
