Ever watched a guy get punched in the balls and immediately felt sympathy pains for him? Well my knee is feeling that right now

I have horrible arthritis in it now. Worst pain I've ever felt and my leg was like a spaghetti noodle when I got off the river.

Aside from that, I'd recommend it to anyone. Just don't wedge your foot very far into the raft.

I blew my knee out playing basketball in high school. Coincidentally enough, that was the knee that started aching when reading about your trip. Though mine wasnt as severe as yours, it still swells up on me when I go running, and the knee cap grinding is a nuisance. But yeah, riding the rapids is amazingly fun...especially early in the season when the water is still a bit chilly!

Also a visit to the Weeden House is a must. Built in 1819.
