Well this might be some welcome relief to anyone who is currently unhappy with their comcastic service.

My friend who works for Comcast told me they would be pulling out in December and Charter or someone else would be moving in.

FCC said they have to many subscribers for that merger, so they are dumping one of their less than stellar markets.

It of course doesn't affect me in Madison, but thought I would share.

Very interesting. It'd be nice if we actually had competition for service instead of a monopoly all the time.

Charter Spectrum is great. 200+ HD channels, 60 mbps net speed. And it works most all the time.

Where are you getting this info from?

I have a technician from Comcast coming over Sunday to install the cable from the pole and an outlet in the house... lost cause?

I would be most pleased if we could swap WOW out for Charter. But after my new Fire Stick comes in, in a couple of weeks, I am cutting the cord but still stuck with their internet

Best move I have made was canning wow and went to Charter. Hope your Internet stays up long enough to watch on your Fire Stick, mine didn't, couldn't watch Netflix it was so bad.

That's what I'm afraid of.

I wish WOW would sell the Madison/Huntsville market. WOW is slowly becoming like Comcast. The service is terrible and prices keep going up.
