The City of Huntsville updated its interactive map tool. The new version is great. You can have a lot of fun with it.

Which is about $400 adjusted for inflation. Time to collect.

Default Athens Area

There are 2 sites that are worth visiting if looking for information on homes or information on Athens. AthensPlus.com has a lot of good links for local information and TourAthensHomes.com has a lot of homes for sale by owner and area realtors.

This is the Huntsville-Madison-Decatur forum. We're on the opposite end of the state from Dothan.
Try the general Alabama forum. There have been several threads about Dothan. I strongly suggest you do a "search this thread" for them and read them first.

Default Pediatrician shortage in Hsv

After the latest post looking for a ped accepting new patients, I thought I'd put a reminder here (not burried in the forum) for the new folks moving to the area to know there is a shortage of pediatricians, especially peds accepting NEW patients (beyond new born age). Some peds reserve a few spots for future patients (new born/pregnant moms), or priority to subsequent siblings.

Plan ahead by getting on a waiting list (if not several) - white lie if you know you'll definitely be here by the time you need a ped (regular checkups), give a friend's address/ph. number if needed for enrollment. Just saying.

Heck, there's a shortage of any specialty dr's (nationally, and locally due to BRAC influx), but as we know parents pay more attention to their children's well-being, postponing their own checkups.
