If you "think" your radio may still work, how can you make such a statement then (in the bold part above)?

Sometimes I feel particularly self-abusive and I know other people who have cars or businesses with radios. That doesn't mean I know Dale whatever his name is.

My dad bought a Heathkit transistor radio kit for me back in the 1960s. I learned some from putting it together, but only ever used it to listen to "Music To Go To The Dump By." (Yes, there is a radio show by that name.)

Speaking of radio shows, does anyone besides me miss listening to Doc Sheppard's Electric Medicine show on the old WTAK AM1000? Now that was the best way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Don't forget Dale is like any other "shock jock". His main job is to make money for the station. If being outrageous or provocative keeps more people listening then all the better.
