Yeah but on normal cars like Mazdas people will turn rotors. On German cars people buy rotors every time, their dealers don't even have lathes. And then if it turns out to be an AMG or Turbo or M car or whatever get ready to have it broken off in you because the rotors will be some slotted/drilled kind that can't be turned anyway and will cost you a couple of grand just in parts. But if you can roll in one of those, something like that shouldn't bother you.

Did the front brakes on my 325 BMW on MOnday. It was super simple and cost me about 2 hours and 75.00 for rotors and pads. Didn't bother with the sensors. I have 150k miles on it. It was a wonderful improvement.

My wife's Avalon though, has the shaking the OP mentioned. It's a tie rod. No idea how to handle that.

Pop it off. Put on a new one.

Doesn't help the OP, but if you have a Toyota or Nissan, then Diehl is the place you want to go. That is the only place we'll take my wife's car or our Nissan.

Good luck!

just got the car back the other day from the shop. Needs quite a bit of work done to it. brake are about finished along with the front wheels being out of balanced, that's just the start.
