If it's successful, parking is going to be a problem, so the movie theater parking lot will always be full. PCM, in Atlanta, encourages alternative transportation and has appropriate accommodations for cyclists.

It's hard for me to envision how all of that is going to fit in that space.

They have several parking garages in the development.

I assume it will use stacked parking will add a lot of room. Most of MSM was parking. But yeah, it seems like quite a bit of stuff in that area.

Things are looking great for our area now. This, and the possible amphitheater venue is definitely just what we needed.

I looked at the drawing again and also at a google earth image of the property and it appears that they will be utilizing some vacant land south of the existing MSM parking lot. Also some vacant land at the south east corner of the intersection of Old Monrovia and Sanderson Road.

I wonder how many truck loads of dirt have been hauled in. That is one big pile of dirt!

Zero loads. That pile is where they are cutting the higher levels of the parking lot. If you will remember, there was a big hill and retainer wall there going up to sears from the old McRae's lower entrance. Parts of the mall you came in on the lower level from the parking lot and some areas you came in on the second level. They are cutting and leveling the development and piling the dirt to use once the structure is completely removed and the land cleared.

Recent picture of the new road they're building. Compared to the latest renderings, it sure looks like they haven't modified the plan for the road that runs beside Top Golf and the possible amphitheater, even though the movie theater is apparently staying. I wonder if the theater will really stay in the end? Or maybe the road will travel through the movie theater parking lot and they'll build a garage closer to the theater or more parking for the theater across the road.

I see what you mean, thank you.

Most of the former Penney's is now gone.
