Online also has twice the selection as the store at Bridge Street. The store in Bham at Brookwood Village has a bigger selection, but still does not offer the selection you get online.

Banana Republic closed at both the Galleria and Brookwood Village last year. They remain at the Summit after a slight downsize to accommodate Trader Joe's expansion. Since their company maintains a large number of other names under their 'flag' at local locations, I am lead to believe it is strictly corporate drama. I'm thinking they are scaling back in their markets because they've had a lot of overlap. Is there a BR at Parkway?

(the Summit has always been their most fully edited store here.)

The irony was that I was taking back a shirt my wife had bought for me online only to see the store closed.

The shirt looked good on their website but awful when I got it (not my style).

No BR at Parkway

Well that sucks! I know the Summit store seemed a little bigger, but for some reason the selection at Brookwood always seemed better and sometimes I really just don't like fighting Summit traffic. Brookwood was my favorite brick and mortar location.
