Need a job come to Huntsville
"Darin Buelow, global location strategy leader for Deloitte who gave the presentation at Huntsville International Airport, said a national recruiting effort is needed to attract people to fill the jobs – an effort he twice compared to national all-hands-on-deck initiative to put men on the moon in the 1960s.
The numbers, according to Buelow: The Huntsville area must fill about 25,000 new jobs by 2023. And this demand comes at a time when Alabama is enjoying a record-low unemployment rate of 2.8 percent further strained by an unemployment rate of 2.1 percent in the Huntsville area."

Our amphitheatre will attract many. Now we have to get a theme park to really attract ppl to move here. Every other city has their own TopGolf and Dave and Busters. We gotta go all in.

Also we need better shopping choices. Town Madison dropped the ball by not having the outlet mall they promised years ago.

The local job market for at least technical people (engineering, system & network IT/analyst, cybersecurity analyst, and software development) in this area is RED HOT. Qualified people are in high demand.

I could easily hire 2-3 more UNIX/Linux system analyst/admins.

Wouldn't say Town Madison dropped the ball. The original plans were screwed when the City of Huntsville took Cabela's...which led to plan B, a baseball stadium becoming the "anchor", and forced them to re-think the rest of Town Madison.

As far as shopping goes. Everything else is cool. Theres not one outlet mall in North Alabama. Thats unfortunate for the fastest growing city in the state.

Used to be in Boaz, but it's long closed.

An outlet mall for Town Madison would be a disappointment compared to original retail plans (not "sophisticated" enough) but I think a nice one similar to Foley would go over really well, if not in Town Madison, then somewhere along the 565 corridor.

Default Town Madison needs an Outlet Mall!

Agree with this 1000 times over! Baseball is great but it's only about 70 games a year. Then what, 20 or so other events? An outlet mall is 364 days a year. I'm pretty sure the only day they're closed is Christmas day! That would have brought tax dollars in every day!
