In the video they said a 30-45 day build out. That probably means they will try to open in March or April.

Interesting - I always thought they would return to Madison Blvd and the enormous M-F lunchtime business there. Looks like they will prefer US 72 West where lunchtime will be much less, but dinner and weekends should be better. It's near me, so that's good!

Default Cranes

Hey AU HSV....went downtown and saw the new crane you were speaking about. If it's 170 feet tall then the Madison county court house must be taller than 130 feet tall. Cause that crane and the court house seem about the same height. Either way it's exciting to see all this development.

The courthouse elevation is about 19' higher than the elevation of the crane.
The crane is actually around 169'-6" tall.

Thanks AU HSV!! Love all the info and updates!! I do wonder how tall the new tower will be for Huntsville Hospital? I know it's 7 floors but I was wondering how many feet tall it will be?

^ i don't have any details on these projects, but usually hospital / healthcare floors are quite a bit taller than apartments / hotels. so a 7-floor "tower" might be in the neighborhood of 100'.

Office building floors are usually 15+ foot slab to slab. I am also excited about another crane being in the air. I was kinda surprised how short it looks against its surroundings..

Should be one or more additional ones before too very long for the hotels across from the VBC. And the Hyatt House. Neither the Hyatt House or the new Marriott have even started foundation work as far as I know, but the Hampton Inn & Suites has.
