Everyone is talking about two different parcels...

He is saying Jack's is going to open beside Sonic. The Milo's is suspected to be in the parcel further east by Walgreens.

Not sure if this is old news, but I saw a sign at the NW corner of Oakwood/Old Monrovia stating that a new Publix shopping center was coming in 2018.

That would be really good to have a Publix in that area.

The Butler Green Entertainment District at Campus No. 805 is official! Huntsville City Council voted it in unanimously tonight! Also, I was actually at the meeting and had an interesting conversation with a friend in the know during a break. Apparently there are some exciting developments coming for Governors Drive between 565 and Triana Blvd to include a hotel and music venue. Official announcements should be coming very soon.

Yeah, so glad that is now an entertainment district. Spring Fest will be much better!

Music Venue?! Now you really have my attention. Please say it's an indoor facility with room for 400-800 people! We desperately need to fill that gap here.

I go to Sonic daily for breakfast... Sausage egg and cheese toaster lightly toasted and a large Coke Zero easy ice... incase you want to get it for me... lol.
Each of 'the twins' that work there have told me that the construction crew eats there told them it's a Jacks.

Does anybody know what they are putting in across from Monrovia Middle School on Jeff Road?
They moved the house that was for sale last week, and they are clearing that land quickly.
It's large enough to be a decent sized subdivision - but I'm not sure how its zoned... anybody?

Smart Living LLC bought the property in October of 2013 for $1,567,500 for 59.00 acres. Not sure if that's the same entity that sells home décor, furnishings, etc. or not.

The tract is located in the county and is not formally zoned.

Check that, Smart Living apparently is Louis Breland, which definitely means single-family residential development is coming to that parcel.
