My nephew is in basic training and I wanted to send him a postcard, but I don't see anyplace that sells them anymore. Is there anyplace in the Madison/Research Park area that sells post cards?

I think the Huntsville Visitor Center gift shop should have some, too - not really near Bridge Street but if you want something not specifically rockets & space they might have something different.

You also could make your own postcard - plain or fancy. Just be careful not to include anything that would cause them to keep it from him.

Drive a few miles down 565 and send him a postcard from Mooresville. You can buy and send them at the same time. If he's a local he'll love it, and if you've never been to the post office there you'll love it, too.

Thanks all, my sister said that she just got one of those letter from my nephew. So , I think I just wanted to send him a bunch of post cards to help lift his spirits.

don't bookstores (even chains) typically sell local-interest postcards up front?
