- 364-lot Anslee Springs development off Indian Creek and Douglass roads in northwest Huntsville is part of a planned development of about 800 homes across 338 acres of newly annexed property. The Anslee Springs project is being developed as a planned use development, which allows a mixture of houses and smaller lot sizes. The site is west of Alabama 53 and north of Blake Bottom Road with the main access road off Indian Creek Road and a planned link to Douglass Road.

That's a little more than 1,000 lots approved. Just hope the city can keep up with fire and police coverage, not to mention roads and bridges.years, except for the luxury one atop Burleson Mountain that is just getting started.
