I was thinking about this lately. Who remembers the night club names in the eighties? Which ones did you enjoy? I know I loved the Plush Horse, and many more, but can't remember the names. Enlighten me.

There was one in north Hsv (near Meridian?) that used to have Dave and the Zodiacs or Dave and the something or other. My gf at the time was into that New Orleans jazz crap at the time; needless to say, we didn't last long.....

The obvious: Tip Top Cafe.
Steve's Lounge, it is still around.
The Last Word. This was a dark little smokey honky tonk on University. Really good times.

What was the place on the back side of The Mall? Where Home Depot is now. Stonehenge?

Cotton Club, near Booklegger at Jordan Lane and Holmes. Big Ben played there, and he was quite good.
