The best one I know of here is at Cyn Shea's Café. I haven't been in a while since moving across town, but they used to have a really good live Jazz Brunch on Saturdays.

Just shows you don't know what a real Cuban is, or really never had one where it originated in the US...Miami, and of course from all of the older cigar family workers of Tampa.

Lots of sandwiches can be "tasty", including a cheap Nathan's dog.

Do we have anything in HSV? Decatur?
I had the cubano at Vintage Cigar Lounge at Bridge Street. I enjoyed everything I tried there, plantains, an appetizer and good happy hour deals. The owner is Cuban.

I'll have to try some of these places...I always enjoy a good Cuban sandwich.

Speaking of wanting good food, I'd give anything for some good Nashville-style hot chicken here in town.

Have you tried "Hot Chicken Kitchen" on Hughes Rd. in Madison? It is part of the franchise Hot Chicken Kitchen - Nashville Style I haven't tried it, so if you do, let us know what you think!
