Off the wall question but where is the best area for you Huntsville residents to take in weekly dirt track racing,Ie (Late models,Mod's, WoO etc) I see where is there a asphalt track,but have not found any close dirt tracks,

There is a dirt track either in Baileyton or Joppa on Hwy69, but I don't know if it is for cars or dirt bikes. I will check it out and let you know.

There is also Baileyton Good Time Drag Strip but it is asphalt.

You're looking to actually race? I'm not familar with the type of racing you mentioned. When I lived in Texas there was a huge community of ralley racing, which had a lot of my friends with Subarus in involved in it. I never got a chance to do it in the Subaru I had but did do some SCCA autocross which I'd love to get back into.

ya, I used to race, but the cost got to high so i have just become a big fan and once i head down south, i was looking for a good dirt track within 30 miles of Huntsville.

There is an oval dirt track on either Old railroad Bed Road or Wall Triana in the Bobo area. This is between Hy53 and Pulaski Pike.
