Sign has gone up for a new RFCU downtown location. Just west of Twickenham Square on Davis Circle and adjacent to City Center which is under construction. A while back it was mentioned Redstone wanted a signature high rise, Hope this is still the case.

That would be cool. If I were the CEO of RFCU, I'd certainly want those 4-letters on the skyline.

I heard the signature building rumor as well, but more recently I heard they are looking at 4-6 stories and the "signature" piece was meant more in a sense it will be nicer than any other bank building downtown. Hopefully the new rumor is incorrect.

I wish RFCU would team up with Crunkelton/Triad on their "signature" mixed use tower they are planning at the city hall site. I'm sure timing is an issue there.

4-6 stories isn't a high rise (in fact, Huntsville has no high-rises) so maybe it'll be the real thing. It would be a good location, and banks tend to build big buildings. They certainly should have plenty of money ....

yeah they have a chance to make a positive impact, if its like the bubba bank next door it will be a total failure.

mid-rise is probably better, 12-18 floors would be sweet, get up above the light poles

12 would be boring. How about 20-30 and get the ball rolling in this town to build something downtown to make the place look like a city.
