Can anybody recommend a good auto mechanic in Huntsville and Madison? I will not go to the dealership again. I cannot trust them.

Depending on make (which is?), Deihl Nissan in Huntsville. They do Toyota and Honda too as well. We've been going to Ricky for some 20 years or so. Only place my wife will take her car.

I would certainly vouch for Ricky Deihl and his shops. Great work, stands behind his work, and honest. Also one hell of a pitching coach but that is for another thread some other time.

Donny on the Toyota side (not sure they're still part of Diehl) is also fantastic. Good work and an honest guy.

The Honda/Toyoya side is now wholy owned by Donny and is called DK Automotive. We've used him for the last 10 for Honda, Toyota and Lexus and have always been happy.

I have nothing but high praise for Donny. He explains things well, doen'st fix things that aren't broken, and does reallh good work. We used Donny for several years when we had our Toyota.

There's also a shop across Governor's on the north side not far from the Blue Plate that works on Porsches and possibly some other higher end cars. I've heard they're quite good. My buddy takes his Mercedes there.
