I have seen many posts asking about Sand Mountain, aka Meth mountain. There was a documentary on A&E intervention show called “Meth Mountain.” This documentary talked about the methamphetamine use on Sand Mountain. This documentary did not stress the use, it is as bad as they say. I am from Albertville,Alabama. I live on Sand Mountain and I know several people that are users or dealers of methamphetamine. This drug can be found probably anywhere in the United States but, it is found a lot here. This drug has affected the areas greatly.

It is still out there and available but not as prevalent as it was just a few years ago. Since it is harder to get the supplies needed to make meth, heroin is now cheaper so many of them have switched over. Heroin is everywhere now.

Default meth mountain

I absolutely agree but I have seen many people effected by this. Heroin is big around here though as well.
