I like to visit REI to look at stuff, but I usually buy online from CampMor or some other place that is cheaper for the same stuff.

Ever since REI did away with their lifetime guarantee, I see no need to buy stuff from there unless I absolutely need it that same day and I've been a co-op member for 20 years. There are plenty of places online where 20% off retail is the norm.
